Philosophy and operations
Iowa Care Package, Inc. is a totally volunteer, non political, non sectarian, nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, dedicated to supporting deployed United States Service Men and Women in combat zones around the world with packages containing snacks, basic comfort items and letters of support.
NOTE: Soldiers in hospitals recovering from combat injuries will also receive “Iowa Care packages” as addresses are available.
Volunteers:
All efforts of Iowa Care Package, Inc. are supported by volunteers and charitable donations/contributions (Iowa Care Package, Inc. does not have employees).
NOTE: Volunteers and visitors must hold harmless (in case of accident), Iowa Care Package Inc., Custom Woodcarving Inc., Ron Fisher Furniture, Ron Fisher, Connie Fisher or their employees.

Iowa Care Package, Inc. continues to develop Partners that provide monetary gifts along with goods and services at no charge or much reduced cost.
- Bowman Miller Pc (Marshalltown, IA) will provide accounting services at no charge. Note: Beth Miller is on the Board of Trustees for Iowa Care Package, Inc.
- Ellen R. Bergman, CPA (Marshalltown, IA) will provide accounting services at no charge. Note: Ellen Bergman is on the Board of Trustees for Iowa Care Package, Inc.
- Farner-Bocken (Carroll, IA) will make available items in their distribution system to Iowa Care Package, Inc. at wholesale (or less) prices and deliver to Iowa Care Package, Inc. in Marshalltown.
- Fareway Store (Marshalltown, IA) and Fareway Stores Inc. (Boone, IA) will make available items in their distribution system to Iowa Care Package, Inc. at wholesale (or less) prices and deliver to Iowa Care Package, Inc. in Marshalltown.
- Heartland Payment Systems (Urbandale, IA.) will provide Credit Card processing at no charge.
- Hy-Vee (Marshalltown, IA store) and Chariton Wholesale (Chariton, IA) will make available items in their distribution system to Iowa Care Package, Inc. at wholesale (or less) prices and deliver to Iowa Care Package, Inc. in Marshalltown.
- King Graphics (Marshalltown, IA.) will provide graphic design services and web site development/maintenance at no charge. Note: Valerie King is on the Board of Trustees for Iowa Care Package, Inc.
- Mid-America ISP - (New Providence, IA.) will provide computer technical assistance, web hosting and e-mail service at no charge.
- Ron Fisher Furniture (Marshalltown, IA.) will provide receiving, work space, shop tools etc. as needed to complete the assembly of Iowa Care Packages at no charge.
- The UPS Store & E&F printing (Marshalltown, IA.) will provide printing materials as needed at no charge.
- John Veldey (Marshalltown, IA.) Senior Partner, Cartwright Druker & Ryden, will provide legal services at no charge.
- Wells Fargo Bank (Marshalltown, IA.) will provide banking services at no charge.
Special Notes:
- Iowa Care Package, Inc. does not have employees.
- Any expense/s incurred by Trustees or volunteers while promoting or benefiting Iowa Care Package, Inc., will not be reimbursed by Iowa Care Package, Inc.
